A lot of times if I take my time on a project, my editing style will change. "PENiS" and "Why!" were the results of my procrastination which leads to different ideas over a period of time that will make me edit differently in different parts of a video. Often I like to do this, but the longer I take on a vid..the more likey it won't get finished cause I'll put it off and other projects will take it's place.
"If you believe in yourself, eat all your school, stay on milk, drink your teeth, don't do sleep, and get your eight hours of drugs, you can get WORK!"

Poysonally, I don't really think I HAVE a style. I just go with what fits the song. To me, some parts of the music transition slowly and a cross-dissolve feels best. Others, the transition is hard, and a cut would fit better. Sometimes I use a fade to capture more of a slower mood than to synch with the music, or hard cuts for the sme reason.
I don't really worry about being consistent. I think it's a case of "Go with what works".
