I rather enjoyed Oh! My Goddess, despite the fact that the OAV is 5 Episodes.

I was inspired to start picking up the manga... and have really been enjoying the series.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I plan to.

movies good, i just like it cuz Lucas....actually Celestine is just cool...his lines and stuff even W/O lucas as the VA...but he adds to the coolness lol. which i said already i believe --;

the series was great, VERY happy go lucky but its enjoyable. if you love the ideal, romantic stuff then go for it. movie is eh...predictable. that was its downside to being so positive and stuff. and if you saw it and hated it, well...it was ONLY five eps. i saw a lot more hands go up for it being a good series than it being a bad one.

The Oavs were only susposed to complement the manga in the opening you see all the characters from the manga put out til then but most of them are not actually in the show. Of course they changed the story a little in the oav belldandy didn't know Keichi when they were kids thats only in the oav. However the manga does nothing to contradict that so it could fit right into the continuity. There are none of the demons from the manga in any of the anime except the mini goddesses were marla appears.

Wow, there are 16 mangas for Oh! my goddess, thats a lot considering that there is only like 5 episodes and a movie. For love hina there are 14 mangas but the series is longer, wassup with that.

I especially liked the fact that in the manga Belldandy hated the fact that she had to stay with Keiichi in the beginning of the manga. Its almost funny reading the manga from beginning to end since the drawing stlye changes so much. The style began really ugly and the characters had completely different designs (Belldandy was kinda pudgy with blue hair) And Keiichi looked like the a typical pervert.
