I agree. That kind of opinion is more like a deliberate attack on the creator and disregards anything about the video.

to me those reviews are sorta funny..i get crap reviews occasionally, but when i check the users profile, the vid is on their faves list(i dont see why my vids tend to suck ass) its just comedic.

I agree that certain individuals seem disruptive in the community, but the best we can do as non-admins is do our part and review a video which we think deserves it. Obviously we can also get admins to act when things get bad and I'm guessing you've e-mailed phade.

Also as you now realize, Phade already has contingencies to take care of things like this like dropping the top 10% and bottom 10% as Scintilla just found out.

As for the Karma system, I think this will help immensely. I imagine the editor will be able to "give points" to certain reviewers and "reputations" will be built and weight given. At the same time, the "top 50 commenters" is already a good start.

I imagine Phade will do something soon. He's talked about it before...either way just do your part if you think something wrong has happened. Threads like this don't really solve anything and have been discussed every time "Euphoria" isn't #1. It's all been said. Oh and it just make me type really long replies

It used to have links when I made that last post. The thing is that this person put a .php web file on the Local server. Phade must have responded my replies.

There was a vid that I downloaded once that I absolutely HATED. So, after I was done watching it, I deleted it from my comp and left an "honest" review. I gave it, I think, a lowest score of either 5 or 6, can't remember. Nailz left me an evil review for my first vis, but it wasn't all 1's there was higher stuff also *cough*2*cough* and I appreciate what people have to say about my AMV's.
