Hello, I'm rather new here but i got a question. I saw a certain AMV at AWA last weekend and I can't seem to be able to find it here. It's an Eva vid set to DVDA's You're a man now. Any help in finding this one would be very nice, Tnx.

Go to this vid (or any, I'm just using this as an example)

Down at the bottom of the page is has a little table with all of the video information. Right click on the bold green letters that say "Direct". When the menu pops up giving you options for what you want to do with the click, move your mouse down to "Save Target As..." (it should be third from the top. Then choose where to save it.

If the letters say "Indirect" on a video, that means you have to click the link and it takes you to the persons web page, from there, you should be able to Download it.

If it says "Local" you have to wait for two weeks after you become a member before you can use the local downloads (unless you donate, in which case, you can immediatly download local vids)

For an avatar, you need to either find a picture on the internet, or have one on you computer, that is 80 pixels high by 80 pixels wide.

When you find one you want, go to the link that says "profile" up at the top of this page (It's mixed in with FAQ, Search, Logout, Usergroups, and whatnot) Go to the bottom of the page. If you have the image saved on your computer, click on browse, and go to where it is on you computer. This will upload it to the server. If the image is on your webpage or something then just put the URL in the line that says url.

And on my downloading example, his link doesn't work anymore. The same principal still stands for how to do it, it's just that his link is broken. And as a warning, that happens sometimes, so don't get too frustrated if you can't get a vid even though it has a "indirect" or "direct" link.
