Anime characters are lousy gunfighters compared to Hong Kong

And if it's someone's fantasy not having to do kewl moves with their two guns while doing his anime, then he is disappointing himself!Propyro wrote:TallonKarrde23 wrote:and who cares if anime isn't very realistic ... it's somones fantasy ... don't like it, don't watch it.

and mad ... IMO i think having a character that has no need for flashy moves is cooler then somone who relies on them.because if you think of it ... Uber powerful = no need to bother dodging. so if you don't need to, then jsut let the shit hit the fan, laugh and kick the guys ass and leave. I find that cooler then killing an entire episode dodging, and trying to sneak fancy moves in... well at least in hellsing's case i do.

So it's not just the uber-moves or anything. It's ATTITUDE. It's in your body language, how you walk the walk and walk the talk. Another setup,
Case in point, Grosse Pointe Blank. You should see the movie, right at that convenience store. The gunfight is close to realistic, but the setup is so fluid from the beginning right to the end of that scene. John Cusack never kick so much 455! It'll remind you, BTW, of Cowboy Bebop: Knocking On Heaven's Door except Grosse Pointe Blank was made in 1998.

We're talking specifically about guns, but valid point. I guess anime characters are good at everything else EXCEPT GUNS!!!!!
