really stupid....but then it's hard to say if anything is real when it's on tv. It's really easy to rig something when the viewers only see 10% of what goes on.

But then, all reality tv is incredibly unrealistic...and usually stupid to boot.

Derren Brown is amazing and his techniques work, such as going up to a woman at the dog track and making her believe that a lossing ticket won and he got a loada money.

Me and my mate used this technique on a teacher once, making him think that a protractor was a pair compassess, we had to litterally pry the protractor from his hands before he realised what it was!

The horrible future:

Announcer: "Takashi the sumo wrestler has just eaten five pounds of fermented fish! He will now take a crap on contestant one's face!"

Takashi: *GRUNTING*

Audience: "DROP! DROP! DROP!"

Contestant: Noooooo!
I'm out...

This is getting WAY out of control here. Someone might get killed on national television. But I agree with MistyCaldwell. This CAN be rigged easily.

As far as stuff being rigged, I think Penn and Teller are great at that. They do al sorts of "dangerous" stunts, well, Teller does all the "dangerous" stuff. And half the time he gets "killed" in the process. It makes for some good laughs.

WTH!!!????!!!!!

Are television producers and the like that desperate?? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read...geez I can picture all the accidents following afterwards of people trying to be "cool" and attempting the same feat...

Gah, besides "reality t.v" ceases to be realistic the moment someone knows a camera is focused on them.
