Eva and love hina ... both dubs suck satans cock. Akira's dub also sucks it with Vanilla ice.

Something tells me the Initial D's dubbing is going to suck. Heck, THEY CHANGED THE NAMES! What the crap!

noooo initial D has dave lucas and wendee lee, so it must be good --; Actually my friend had the DVD and a dvd player and all that...but i never got around to watching it --; But the WORST dub.....Excel Saga. ...perhaps it was just cuz i watched it all subbed first...but i dunno. i dont see how ANYONE could like the dub for Excel...Excel's voice is the most horrid thing ever....the person who did her should have been run over a long time ago for talking like that at all, and Il Palazzo sounds like a aristocratic british person...which he ISNT --; meh, i bought all the dvd's but its kind of annoying having to read when your tired and stuff so i dont get around to watching it much anymore --; But Excel owns, just not the dub --;

Yami's out but it was released under the english name Descendants of Darkness. It's been out for a while now...

Vision of Escaflowne - Hitomi sounds like a valley girl, Vaughn can't scream, Allen is voiced by the VA for Vegeta in the states and Dilandau sounds 5 years old.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - So bad it actually takes away from the meaning. I.e. characters don't sound right or give off the right emotions and thus fuck up the meaning and feelings the viewer should have.

Yes it could get worse, the eve dub fucks it up more ... but in a bad way. A very bad way.

The Shaman King dub is horrible. Everyone's voice seem too high.

*makes mental note to never watch SK dubbed* Actually, I read the manga before seeing any of the series, so I wasn't even particularly thrilled with the original VAs for it anyway. Manta's voice is too deep, Amidamaru's also feels too deep for some reason, and Yoh's seemed too feminine, though I got used to it. *shrug* Ueda Yuuji did the VA for Horo Horo, though--he kicks major booty. Heck, I watched Violinist of Hameln just because I knew he was the VA for Hameln...

Well you already know my thoughts on Eva and I don't find it fucked up at all...quite uplifting to be honest.
