my vote is for the original VHD

Inu Yasha and DBZ. Kagome sounds like a valley girl and DBZ... yeah. Just... yeah.

Onegai Teacher, Fruits Basket, Tokyo Babylon, Vision of Escaflowne, Yami no Mastuei, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Fushigi Yuugi.

There's this one line in the first episode of Yami where the dub actor for Hisoka says, "I'm like SO outta here." That cracks my sister and I up. Also, the Gushoshins aren't high chicken voices; one has a VERY deep voice and the other has a Brooklyn accent. And to top it off, Watari is James from Pokemon...

Tokyo Babylon: I seriously want to strangle Hokuto >.<

Fushigi Yuugi: dear god... I wanted to kill Miaka more than ever when I saw that. Every character was god awful...

The DBZ dub actually got pretty decent as the series progressed.

I wouldn't say that Excel Saga is exactly a bad dub, but Excel is mind-bogglingly annoying. I don't recall how her original voice sounded, though. I didn't see much of the sub.

The Shaman King dub is horrible. Everyone's voice seem too high.

And from what I've read, the Alien 9 dubbing makes you want to scream.

XTV's dub, and yes, definetly the original VHD...

Yami no Matsuei? Are you sure that wasn't a fandub? Because I tried to buy it at AWA this year and they said it wasn't out yet...

Love Hina is by far one of the worst dubs I've ever been unfortunate enough to encounter. Every voice is just wrong.

And if I remember correctly, the Slayers dub is pretty awful too. As soon as I heard Lina's English voice doing the intro sequence, I had to change it back to Japanese. Although I did check back occasionally, and it didn't get much better.

Crest of the Stars dubbing is HORRID! A teenaged Jinto DOES NOT sound like a 30 year old.

Tokyo Babylon's dubbing is horrible as well. C'mon, Subaru sounds like Michael Jackson w/ steroids.

Trust me, almost every German dub is bad! I can't stand watching anime on German TV, it always gives me the chills! And the German dub on DVD isn't any better! The problem is: If you know the original voices, then every other voice is just wrong!
