my favorite char. is zelgodis A.K.A. zelga

Hes just so cool and even with his split ends I also like the fact that he can keep his head in any situation (except when lina talks to him) this is the best example I can think of his char. 8)

but I just wanted to hear others favorites and why

dude, it says you joined in october of this year....but....its still september --;; Atleast for me anyway but whatever. Well i havnt really watched it at all, ive seen some of it on the International Channel and read alot about it... only one i could think of would be Filia just cuz i knew someone who used the name for their AIM sn --; I guess Lina, mainly due to amusement from her in the few episodes i watched. But yeah whatever --;

All I have to say is that Gourry became COOLER near the end of Slayers Next. Thus making 2nd season THE best.

I love the Slayers too. I have too many fav eps to mention...though Slayers Next is my fav series. Lina is the best too.

Oh EVERYONE has to like Slayers Next. Slayers is practically the intro of characters and plots and Slayers Try just SUCKED!

the damn official boxsets for EACH one of the season/series things is $300 a piece at Suncoast, i cant be wastin that much at once....$900 is just too much to spend on one show at one time to me --; I'd d/l it but thats alot of episodes ..if i got all 3 series --; If best buy had the boxsets they'd be WAY cheapr but oh well --;

Xellos is my favorite badguy from Slayers.

Naga the Serpent is my favorite Badgirl. Her laugh is a weapon in itself.

My fav character from all the series is Filia Ul Copt. Next is Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune

I liked Zelgadis in Slayers but he seemed toned down in the later series to me. I also laugh at how Amelia acts when shes around him.

My favorite scene in Slayers is when the fish guy is killed by a fireball and in essence is cooked. So while his body is laying on the castle floor the wolfman leader turns around after lamenting their fish friend he sees the bones picked clean and everyone's mouth is full.

I didn't think Try sucked at all. It didn't have the character progression that Next had, but since you could look at it as one long series, it didn't need it.

The only thing about Try that bugged me was how inane the filler eps were. The filler eps from the first two were funnier but you can't judge a series only by it's filler when it has a good plot line besides.

And when I watched it through a couple months ago, the message they had came out...in a new light that applies to modern times.

However, I really don't like the OVA episodes, aside from the herd of Nagas ep where she was terrorizing the town (and Lina) with her blood chilling laughter. I like the movies though and I wish ANY OTHER company besides ADV owned them so they'd be out by now.

ADV has a crapload of new stuff but licenses older stuff like crazy....especially older Manga Corp vhs only series which it's now putting onto DVD. In the meantime, they hold Slayers and won't release the movies! Sounds like disney

Love the Slayers. And i like all the characters alot. but i think Lina is the best. Her mannerisms and actions are the best mainly when shes eating with Gourry.

damn man I just picked up the slayers boxset on dvd for like $120 at some comicbook store here.

my fav chars is would have to be zel, xellos, and hellmaster febrizo(from next).
