I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

If you copied it verbatim, it doesn't make sense.
First off, it's most likely someone you dealt with in the transaction. If it's from ebay, but a question from another member, then they are probably abusing the system.
If it was sent through ebay's servers, send it to the department they will have listed at the bottom of the mail.
If it's from the person themselves you could always respond to the email they sent you from. Just don't give out your number or anything...I am sure you know that....

Ebay doesn't keep item details any longer than 90 days. No one but who you bought from would know the item, they could only look at your feedback and see an item number and date. That is unless the item details are listed in the feedback you gave/recieved.
Whatever it is, it's abuse of ebay (heck, they deserve it, but you don't) so don't give or make deals with people who solicit you like that. It will be a scam. They obviously are luring you in with the item details...
