Signature Length

How about a limit to the number of lines of text you can put in your sig?
Having a banner limit of 40 pixels tall seems rather pointless when someone can go paste a half a screen of some chat into their sig.

I'm alredy strained on text with my long linkin URL's to my pics and I don't feel giving up anymore. I don't see anyone with half a page anyways.

i say they give u a limited amount of screen area for your sig space like lets say 100X600 or something and what u do with that is up to u

give the screen, but the display has to be within teh guidelines, like no hack/dl'ed video links.

I say they stick with the way it is now, and just make it so invisible text doesn't count toward the text limit.

Yes, i just noticed there was a limit recently :p
Had to use some tricks to get 4 links on my sig :p
Text inside of links shouldn't get counted. All I was inferring to is that its annoying to see these people that make a post and then there sig is 3x as long as there post. It used to be a common rule around the internet that if your sig is longer than your posts, then its too big
