a lill help if you have time

Post by saiyjin_pride » Mon Sep 29, 2003 5:46 am

i found an old anime that i used to watch as a kid (teknoman) but all the files are "Windows Media Audio/Video file" which for some reason my adobe premier wont allow. can any help me to change the file format or give me the name of a video editing program that will work with them.

thanks pride.

Wmv is just a bad codec to work with. Your best bet is to get the dvds and rip the footage - saving clips as hufyuv if you have to cut it into small files. You *could* try a google search for some wmv to avi converter and try cleaning things up in VirtualDub, but not much will be worth using if it starts out as wmv.

[And it sounds like you're talking about downloaded footage, which is not supported here since it's unethical. Don't be surprised if you get flames instead of answers to this question.]

wmm also works well with wmv...if you use premiere you need dvd rips to not get any error importing messages
