Well, im glad my family isnt like that, they are all dead, or in jail from commiting murders, or conning peopleJace Tsunami wrote:oh yeah, so ontopic, since I never mentioned anyhting about it.
My grandparents are hardcore religion freaks as well. they hate how i am, and they blame my parents, which is fair I guess. My parents are religous, but they never made me go to church.
Anyways, I'm constently shocking my grandparents. Me and my brothers. My grandma was like, "YOUR BROTHER IS LIVING WITH HIS GF, AND THEY'RE NOT MARRIED!?" She almost disowned him. Good thing no one told her they're fucking. woooooo
And she hates my liberal use of not so clean words, and my tatoos and piercings. She doens't blame my parents for this tho, she blames my friends in bands I hang out with, and yeah, I bame them too. everytime i spend time with Tony Lovato form Mes tI start using the f word about 5 times more.

My grandparents are mostly atheist (well, one is a very mild protestant).
Generally, they're all very proud of me, except for that 'rock music' I listen to
. Otherwise, it's fortunate that I seem to have no problems communicating with them at all. In fact, at times it seems that my grandparents are the ones that understand me better than either my peers or my parents.
But, feel sorry for you, as I still know one religious freak too many... well, more than one

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Have not read the rest of the thread, BUT....
Heck, when I was 6 or so, there was this BOOK I read all the time. She took it, and hid it UNDER THE OVEN.
It caught fire.
Its creepy how excactly like my mother she is.Propyro wrote:... and i ahve a feeling my moms going to do something really dumb ... she's take my computer before ... threatened my anime collection with physical harm, and last night she mentioned my music ... so i ahve a feeling i'm going to have to put all my action figures in their boxes, and hide them again ... along with my dvd collection, also again. Now hiding my cd's is going to be a bit more of a problem.
yes, my mother lashes out at whatever she percives to be a problem, even if it isn't one. One of the reason't why i don't look up to her for her intellegence.

And now that I read the rest, moving along:
My grandparents are a funny couple. My grandmother is an extremely devout Catholic. My grandfather is a total Atheist, or at the very least, does not believe in any organzed religion.
Family reunions are terribly fun when they have a bit of alcohol in their system.
