I'm trying to make an amv, but I need to dl music. I can't download from Kazaa, cause my dad says it's illegal cause of copyrights. Where else can I download songs, or is it not illegal?

If you just want to listen to music you can go to the online radio stations at shoutcast.com.

If you actually need to music for a video thats another story

I need the hamster damce for my video. Also, I just put my dvd in the comp, but it won't play on wmm. What's with that?

I'm assuming you are talking about this problem "0xC00D1163: A problem occurred with digital copyright protection"

The program has issues with some copyrighted DVDs. Try using a DVD player program such as Intervideo WinDVD or MGI SoftDVD. download.com is a good place to start looking for a DVD player program.

You import it as a music clip.

But you're not supposed to ask about using downloaded music any more than you are about footage.

As for reading your dvd in wmm - have you read any of the guides on ripping footage and turning it into clips that can then be imported into wmm? O.o
