Best Website Layouts and Contents

Post by SephirothJenova » Fri Sep 26, 2003 1:15 pm

What do you suppose are the best websites (particular AMV related) for layouts, and which ones are best for content? I like <a href="http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~vegex/">VegettoEX's website</a> for its thoroughness on its DBZ information and its layout. For some Flash expertise I liked AtomX's old AtomXOnline.com website (which is gone now) and now <a href="http://www.2advanced.com/">www.2advanced.com</a>, but both didn't have a good content. MeriC's <a href="http://www.templeotrunks.com/">Temple Of Trunks website</a> is good for its contest with all of the information that it provides, but I think that the layout is somewhat bland and doesn't really impress me. What suggestions do you guys have on good AMV websites?

Mike's dBZ site kicks ass, but I think he needs to put his updates in an iframe. No sense scrolling the ENTIRE page down, and so far at that.

How can you say there isn't much content on 2advanced. For the past 3 years they have been at the leading edge of flash use, and built numerous commercial websites/features. They work in all sorts of media including CG, audio, video, and interactive websites.

Personally, I prefered their third itteration http://www.2advanced.com/archive/v3/flashindex.htm

A good site to check out for quallity of design is pixel ranger

2advanced.com doesn't have a lot of content, because they are mostly for show and stuff. They basically have their website and like never update it other than change the layout once in a while.

I like awezoom media. The site looks tidy, the layout & navigation are simple, skinned & animated, updated occasionally, and not wholely rely on Flash therefore it loads up very quick.
