Kiki's Delivery Service

Post by Anlushac11 » Thu Sep 25, 2003 9:40 am

8)

Was bored so I threw this in for something to watch. Hadnt seen it since a Anime festival many years ago.

I had forgotten what a delightful and entertaining film this is. I thoroughly enjoyed this and wondered why I havent watched it more often.

It was released in 1989 and while the characters look a little dated I was amazed at how good the scenery still is.

For those of you like me that like entertainment that leaves you with a good warm feeling I cant recommend this title enough.

Rented it the first time I saw it. Great movie, and one of the best memories Phil Hartman left us.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Yeah, it's really good. For 1989, it looks like it was made in 1996. Really good plot and animation. First anime movie I saw. ^_^

Kiki was my introduction to Studio Ghibli; after five years since it arrived here, it's STILL one of my favorites!

Very good movie! I first saw it around age 8.

Sometimes when I'm feeling down I'll pop this in the DVD player, and it always succedes in making me feel better.

i actually hadnt seen it until they released it (When best buy had the deal where you buy 3 Miyazaki movies and get Mononoke free). I had HEARD about it but never seen it. I was only really getting the deal because i needed a second copy of mononoke and spirited away and i had really liked Castle in the Sky when i had seen it, i wasnt expecting Kiki to be very good. But as you all say it actually really is o.O
