Is Tencho OVA 3 licensed for a North American release yet? I hope they both come here and I hope they are dubbed with the original voice actors, too.

OVA 3 isn't even being made yet. THey're just planning it

According to Masaki Kajishima (One of the four "Gods of Tenchi"), the third OVA is already in his mind, it just has to be transferred to paper, and then to anime. Thus, there is no NA liscense yet.

But like I said about GXP - I would be shocked if Pioneer didn't get the rights. Pioneer is synonymous with Tenchi.. so much so that people actually think Pioneer makes Tenchi, which is not true at all... Pioneer simply brings it stateside for us. The company that makes tenchi is AIC Anime. I think that they are connected to Pioneer though.. perhaps they own Pioneer or vice-versa. *shrugs*

They could be very well related because in Tenchi Muyo in Love movie, near the end, Tenchi's dad is holding up a camera, and the camera has the Pioneer logo on it.

I've been collecting the RAW episodes. I've fansubbed the first 2 episodes myself, and I released episode 1 publically if you wanna see it. It should still be downloadable from http://www.tenament.com/garylisk/downgxp.htm
ANyway, episode 16 aired last night, and episode 17 next week on Tuesday (Technically Wednesday morning since it comes on at 1am) - and that's the Masaki house episode

So far the series is damn good, by the way.. and there's a new cabbit! That's the important part

And yes, suicide is the only way out.

PS OVA 3 is coming next year... They said production starts towards the very end of this year and the beginning of next year. Let's hope for a Summer 2003 release, or even sooner

Either way I can find plenty of other rules that are not exactly "strictly" enforced.
