I really don't care. What am I going to do, reach through teh internet and break your DBZ DVD's so you can't add another DBZ vid to the already enormous number of DBZ vid's (oh, wait, you said you don't actually own any source footage, so even though what I said is impossible, now it's even more impossible) The only thing that will stop you from making a vid is yourself.
When songs get overplayed on the radio, do you get tired of them? DBZ is to AMV's as "whatever is currently popular" is to Radio. Every time that "Damn" song comes on, you cringe, thinking "why won't they stop playing that same fucking song over and over again". That's what DBZ has become to many AMV viewers. Your tastes are not being critisized, you're just being warned that it is much more difficult to make a DBZ vid that will be well accepted by other people, than it is to make something more original.

Good analogy, Jon, but I also agree with Fyrt here. I hate most of the songs on the radio because they've been played to death - I won't even listen to it anymore. But I still love some of the older songs that have been played again and again for years - they're timeless for me. I'd say that's true for anime as well, some few can't get enough. ^_^;
I can watch 30 well-edited Love Hina vids and be bored out of my mind, cringing as you put it from being forced to see the same thing over and over again. But all it takes is one nicely made dbz vid to brighten my day. It's all a matter of taste. ^_^

Then apparently my taste sucks... Because I like well-edited DBZ AMVs, and horrid Trigun AMVs that no one else can sit through.Arigatomyna wrote:Good analogy, Jon, but I also agree with Fyrt here.
