It would simply be stupid to make illegal the use of AMVS.
Economically, the RIAA actually would make more money due to the spread of AMVS.
1st cuz u guys promote the buying of DVDs and hate any other forms of getting footage. This leads to more money for companies cuz ure buying footage.
2nd, viewers of the AMVS might get tempted to buy the DVDs of a particular show since they now grew to like it or to make AMVs in the future.
Just a thought :? Makes sense no?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't RIAA stand for the "Recording Industry Association of America"? So I don't think we'd be buying any DVDs of theirs unless it's a concert DVD.

CDs can be put in somewhere in that equation...
