Hellsing: the Anderson Priest *possible spoilers*

Who, or what, is the Anderson Priest? You know, the guy with the baptised knives who completly rocks!!

P.S. If you couldn't already tell, he is my favorite character in Hellsing.

He is a member of some other organization ( cant remember name at the moment ) somewhat like Hellsing. However isntead of using vampires to kill other vampires and undead, this orginization kills ALL of them.

If you havnt seen the whole series u probly dont want to read on.

In the last few episodes alucard is stressing the question to incognito as to who his master is. Though incognito does not answer this question later in the episode u get a glimpse of a man from the bottam of his face, Alexanders scar, glasses, and facial details are very obvious.

So i guess you can draw your own conclusions as far as the anime goes.

Anderson is a member of the Roman Catholic Church's vampire slaying division. I forget the actual name of it.

He isn't human, though, he's something called a regenerator. He almost seems to have limited vampire powers.

and yes he's a regenerator, but with really limeited vampire power. he focuses more on cheap bible tricks.

personaly i think anderson is an asshole for his whole elite purist attitude. Alucard and Victoria are pretty much on his side but becasue of the whole catholic/protestan tension their enemies ... plus anderson is just an asshole ... if Victoria can control her berserker stat she'd kick Anderson's ass. alucard barely breaks a sweat fighting him, even if he dose get bound and cut in half ... that dosn't stop him from comming back and kicking his ass.

arrrggghhhh I hate that we have to not like each other....
I happen to be catholic and I live in an ALL protestant naborhood, and lets just say that it's not a very nice naborhood... to us at least....

I agree with you that Anderson can be and ass, but i still love him...

Andersong (yes I typed Andersong, there's a reason but I dont have time to type it right now) is by far my favorite character in Hellsing. I really need to get the manga of Hellsing or ask someone who has read it to find out if they go more in depth with the character of Paladin. They only show brief moments of his first "death" and thats it.

I concur. Alucard's arrogance rocks cause he's got the skill to back it up. Anderson, on the other hand, talks a lot of shit, and then gets slaughtered by Alucard. What a sucker.

but eya ... Alucard isn't as arrogant as Anderson, but far more powerful ... i don't care if anderson gets silver knives, he'll get his ass owned all the same.

Alucard says it numerous times that he's disgusted by how low level vampires jsut kill for the sake of killing and not ending the thirst and how they don't know their place. I'm sure if you were a low level vampire (with out a freak chip) with some kind of dignity alucard would probably spare you, or possibly tutor you. Well at least thats the conclusion i came to after thinking about that line when he kills those two bonnie and clyde copy-cats. He just seems like a far more tolleant person then Anderson is.
