Oh fellow torontonians...or gta members....a question....

Post by Moonlight Soldier » Sun Sep 21, 2003 8:38 pm

Hmm...ya....

Friday I'm going on this feild trip thingy where I should be able to go shopping in the Eaton's Center and its general vicinity...anyone know of any good anime stores or you know places where I can find some good stuff??? I only go down there maybe 3 times a year so my knowledge is a bit iffy...

I've heard there's a store called "the Hairy Tarantula" that sells some anime....but I'm not entirely sure of its location...somewhere across the road from Sam the Record Man????......just wondering...

Post away.

There is no shopping center. There is no city of Toronto. There is no province of Ontario. There are hints of a country called "Canada", but they've never been verified.
I'm out...

lol lol

Anyways, I admit that there wasn't much when it came to anime in the Eaton's centre. There's an Indigo on the top floor that carries a few things in the category of "graphic novels". That's actually where I got the second volume of Kare Kano. The HMV at the bottom floor has some things, but nothing too spectacular. Hmmm... I also think there's a Music World or something on the main floor which has some stuff. Though once you find a general section about electronics, it's best just to look in most of those stores, since most stores are all grouped together by their type. Of course, last time I went was this summer, so hopefully this news shouldn't be too out of date. ^_^

Did you get to go up the CN Tower?

Jumping on that glass damn near gave me a heart attack.
I'd do it again though. I'm not bright.
If nothing else, harsh noises get your attention.

well I haven't gone on that trip yet, though I've never been to the CN Tower....I want to though, I love heights. I'm trying to convince my friend to bring me sky diving with him on his 18th birthday....(he's doing it to get over his fear of heights lol....)
