Well, it doesn't always work for me either - it depends more on the word you're looking for. Do a test run and use super search for this:downwithpants wrote:hmm, i guess that field is messed up for just me then...

Anime: Saiyuki
Comments: shonen
Result: 1
or this
Anime: Sanctuary (from angel sanctuary)
Comments: fall into
Results: 8
It may only take parts of words if it can't find the one you put in the comments box, and it doesn't work very well with anime that have a lot of listings. So yeah, it doesn't always work, but that's the purpose of the comment section.

the problem is when i search for saiyuki/shonen i get the same result i get when i search for saiyuki/9 or saiyuki/htneaoushtnaoes
although entering a string in the comments narrows down the results, it does not depend what string you enter- they all show the same results

That's odd. When I change the word on the Saiyuki search I get different results. Are you a donator? I don't think that should matter, but it's made some effects in the 'search according to download' so you never know (and the results of those two searches were mostly local vids). Either way, it's not fullproof for me. I think there's a bug in the system somewhere.downwithpants wrote:the problem is when i search for saiyuki/shonen i get the same result i get when i search for saiyuki/9 or saiyuki/htneaoushtnaoes

And Turunks? - last I heard Phade is working on a way to filter the top 10% list according to anime. That should make it easier to find high ranking vids for the anime you like.
