Let's just hope standard-issue ejector seat parachutes aren't bright red with a bullseye on top.

What the hell is it, Hawaiian fatigues day? If they wanted you to stand out any more, they'd paint neon targets on your backs.

You guys need to switch to a similar style as the new Marines camo, minus the dark beige hiking boots that look like they were made from Hushpuppies. The pixel pattern used is far more effective in blending in reasonably well to a multitude of surrounding environments, and repeats in such a way that there is less material wasted.

I still think it was a dumbass idea for the military to modify the M-16A2 to fire three-round bursts only, and not full automatic. It's just another way to add useless crap to an already effective rifle.

I swear to god when I PCS to Elmendorf(one of the Wear-test bases), if they make me wear that faggy thing I'm going to fucking kill someone. Or maybe go and hide in the mountains with my old BDUs. I'll be able to see anyone in the blue uniform coming from miles away.

I may have to abstain from the vote, I was going to join ANG to learn how to be an ATC. But the only airwing around here (111th Fighter Wing) was...a fighter wing, and I have a medical DQ (migranes).

But the only AF personel ever really put in combat situations are pilots, correct?

I mean, unless you're planning on jumping into a hot LZ and fighting your way out, green/blue/mauve, shouldn't really make a difference.

And will the green BDU's still be availible for combat situations? I mean, I really don't think they expect you to leviate over the enemy's head for camo.

As far as the Marines' digi cammies. I don't know, but it's about time they dropped the buffed-to-a-shine black boots for some earth-tone boots. "Hey, what's that shiny black thing in the bush?" "I don't know, let's shoot it."

That blue BDU set looks like something Cobra would rock. So that scores points, but the camo pattern makes me feel dizzy and fall down.

So you'll be wearing the blue on the rground or in the air? If it's the air force, why does it matter?
Besides ...it looks pretty.

If something is going to be worn in combat situations, what it looks like matters zilch compared to how it performs. If it was shown that wearing uniforms that looked like someone barfed pepto bismol all over them worked better than anything else, I'd wear it. If the changes are only cosmetic, and have no change on battlefield wear, then the only factor should be "Does it work as well, but is also cheaper?"

Well my opinion on this won't be as long-winded as my ops for videos:

For any military organization, it looks laughable. Maybe it's the model modeling it, but I think I'd still laugh if I saw anyone in that. It doesn't seem to serve any purpose in combat and doesn't look comfortable. I assume those are the two things that would matter.

It's not even pleasing on the eyes, but that's not as important as the first two points. Again,
