Why the hell is DBZ so crap?, you'd think with all the money it gets from dissilussioned kids it could at least afford some decent animator and script writers.

Maybe it's due to the fact that Dragonball Z came to the US pre-animated and pre-scripted, and was merely edited and dubbed for North America?

well for one, dbz was started back in April 26, 1989 and went to January 31, 1996. so basic funamation didn't buy the rights till later on. but it did run once before here before it was shown on cartoon network.

all american kids want are bright flashes and fighting and they dont want a "complicated" story line or "complicated" character development becouse that confuses them and they are mostly to stupid to understand something like eva or esca
