An interesting trend, our little hobby is everywhere

Post by XenoDrake » Thu Sep 18, 2003 2:40 pm

I was on the hunt for a music video, I’m sure you all know of it. It’s Kenna – Hell Bent. Its also known as just “More” http://www.scifi.com/exposure/frameup/more.html but this I think is a short film that was latter used to make the music video, I’m not sure as the site their doesn’t go into the history, and I cant watch it with a dial up ><

So anyway, I’m looking for this video, *still am, so if you can help, please do ^_^*

And I come across a forum like ours, only they do clay animation music videos.

http://pub86.ezboard.com/bclayandstopmo ... ncommunity

It’s an interestingly small community that dose just what we do, only with clay. I was just wondering what you all thought about this. I think its neat to see what other people do with the same idea we do, take music, take anime (or in their case, clay) and put them together in some facet of entertaining.

So anyway, the reason I’m making this post is to find this Hell Bent video, I have been looking for hours now, nothing; I found a few places that will let you stream it but no place to download it. Any help is much appreciated

At least what they do is less illegal than what we do.

Actually, that's really cool. I can see why it would be much more of a niche area than AMV's (the difficulty of doing it). The yearning people have for expressing their emotions/ideas is comes through in amazing forms. I think it's great that people like to do stuff like this.

Yes, and the hobby will likely get a lot more people. people want to express themselves as well as to make movies and often to play stars on their own movies. (not porn, hopefully.)

it's the going to be the (new) modern art form.

cool, i made a claymation movie once for a group project in high school. basically, the movie was about making fun of canadians. but it turned out to be the teacher's favorite, maybe cause of the cool blood effects. i never saw the video again though, oh well. it was fun, but the clay was expensive- like 20 bucks barely got enough clay for the little characters. anime dvds may be more expensive, but at least you can reuse them for more videos and you can keep the dvds for your viewing entertainment.
