So you say. Gun companies have been sued by victims in the past. Sure they've won some of them, but the court costs alone are outrageous. I think there should be some rule where if you sue and lose, you have to pay the other parties legal expenses.

I might also add that this videogame suing frenzy seems similar to companies being sued for their products even though the real problem is stupid children and stupid parenting.

So yeah, I'm not surprised in the slightest by these stupid suits.

We should all sue the RIAA for media related witch hunts and defamation of character.
Our pretences? The RIAA does not have sole ownership on said media and that the views of the organization do not reflect even a majority of the music creating world. And while it is the Universal, Disney, Columbia, exc. that actually claim ownership of said songs, it’s original creators, the musical group in question, should have some say in who get sued and when. And that while MP3s have been around since the mid-late 90’s and it was only recently that the general public were provided with the tools to make all this possible, thanx only to their actions against Napster and related communities. I even intend to prove that if it were not for these witch hunts MP3s wouldn’t’ be nearly as prevalent. That those of us MP3 l33t prior to and even now, use peer to peer services as merely an alternative to radio, which is polluted with Disc Jockey bias and over prevalent commercial advertising. All of whom rip their own sources for personal enjoyment only. Finally moving on the pointing out that it is wrong to punish a community of people for one person’s misuse. If that’s’ the case, shut down the radio stations. Close all Blockbuster franchises, and for the love of God, put all roadways on a 24-hour ban.

Then I I’m personally going after the US Government for sole “ownership” of the Internet and all online materials.

7 seconds ago. It doesn't really matter though. You can't sue a company for people misusing its products.
You can sue anyone for anything. Though the likelihood of winning is slim to none.

you can't however sue somebody for something that you've already sued them for and won or lost.

Haha, yeah. I geuss I should rephrase that.

There is no legal basis for lawsuits against a company for the intentional misuse of it's products by an outside party. Proof must be presented that said company either decieved the users of its products functions, incited the misuse of its product in some manner, or did not take reasonable measures to prevent the misuse of its product for a lawsuit to be presented.
I think there should be some rule where if you sue and lose, you have to pay the other parties legal expenses.
I've always thought that would be a good idea.

Well, yeah. After people started suing fast food chains for making them fat, there's not much left to be surprised by.
