Way to bring bogus entries in the database to attention

Post by mckeed » Wed Sep 17, 2003 6:48 pm

I've come across some things that I think need to be rectified. For instance, I have seen someone create three different video entries for the same video so they can have 3 different sizes on the server for dl. In have also seen local links to non-anime videos, which i though wasn't kosher. Also ppl putting in the song title, "i don't know - i don't know." Or ppl listing other ppl videos, wheather by accident or not. There needs to be some data purity rules here and some checks and balances on what is put up on the org server for dl. Maybe it would be possible to put a check box next to the results on the search page is something needs to be brought to the attention of a mod or admin. Comments?

That's a very good idea. Perhaps a button on the video info page which would let you report the video in question along with a brief explanation why you think it shouldn't be on the server?
