I've only made 3 videos so far, and the 2 that WEREN'T Windows Movie Maker jobs have both been sent to a bunch of cons (though one of them won't premiere until Nan Desu Kan 7 next weekend)... because I saw no reason not to. If the cons don't take them, well, at least I tried.
trythil was being sarcastic / "oh, aren't I hummmmmble, watch me be humble! I'm humble, REALLY". He's really well-known. He was played at Otakon, for fuck's sake.

Personally I think false humility is bullshit, but you know.

Anyway, all of the above - announcements, op trading - are good suggestions. If you have any other online things like an LJ or something, plug them there too. And don't shove it down people's throats or they'll get tired of hearing it. It's a balance.

At the end of it all, just be happy with what you've got. You don't need two thousand people watching every single video you make. Some will do better than others.

Yes, do that please.

Then I'll make a thread about your video so everyone can see.

Maybe you should make it a bit more detailed, like

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Wow that's harsh. Trythil was just giving his opinion and for the most part, he *does* think his videos suck. I tell him they don't, but well..I'm not him. He has every right to hate them and think they suck.

Also, playing at Otakon doesn't necessarily mean it's good to everyone. It means a group of judges liked it. Doesn't necessarily equate to "good." That's different viewer-to-viewer and in his case, he doesn't think that particular video was good.
