Trust me, I had a lot more fun in my 5 months on this forum than on that whole day!

But the point is, this will become HISTORY, it should not be constantly relived over and over again.
Well FUCK, why don't you just start saying that vetrans day, and memorial day, and independence day are just some BULLShit holidays that mean nothing and should be forgotten.

I AM over it i just thought a nice short moment of silence was fitting considering how many FUCKING PEOPLE DIED, asshole, I'm not some kind of patriot and I'm not a fan of Bush or this countrys politics,
I just thought that a moment of silence was fitting , i mean yeah 2 years is a long time back but still i don't think that i can forget about the deaths of a COUPLE THOUSAND people.

Fuck, if you think about it this way, a short moment of silence is the least we can do, and thats all i was really asking.

I wasn't asking for you to pour your hearts or get all sentimental, just a quite sign of respect for the dead.

I hate you all right now (moonlight, lightingcountX,and lyrs.)

Of course they mean stuff.

Nov. 11 1918 - end of WWI... A far more significant event (20million dead vs. 2800 - hmmm...)

May 5th 1865, Civil War (355,000 dead vs 2800 - hmmm...)

Check the facts buddy, if anything, the 11th is more of nothing... Not to say that it is or understate its' importance

Hey,

Look here, i didn't make that post to you, okay? You got that? And secondly, what i meant by "get over it" was, get over the dislike. It's here and you can't get rid of it, so just chill. Complainging doesn't make you a fucking hero. That last part was for Lightning X.

I know FACT-wise it is nothing but the fact that it was our countrys' own damn fault made it worse, also considering it was a terrorist attack.....

So was WWI, to an extent, and definitely the Civil War (that is, US' own fault).

For me, the real day of rememberance is still May 9th, the factual day when the fighting ended on the WWII European front. Many a relative of my family lost their lives and/or livelyhoods there, along with a good 50mil others.

I wonder why that event, or the end of the War in the Pacific, isn't remembered as well as the other rememberance occasions.
