By the way, I think I'm telepathically responsible for Sep. 11. When I still didn't know about the attacks, I clearly remember a thought flashing by in my mind about how the '11th was such a meaningless date and I wonder how people would remember it were it to go down in history...'. Which means that I am indeed the mastermind.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

On the other hand, the OKC bombing had an anomalous aspect to it. How many white American guys have done plane hijackings, Olympic killings, bombings, and other terroristic actions?Tom the Fish wrote:April 19, 1995Toecutter wrote:4) Americans in general have become too soft and tolerant of diversity, to realize there are some ethnic groups that do not deserve our respect (especially those who are trying to kill us, because Allah says so!).
Tom
How many Middle Eastern men have done those?
The few "anomalous" white guys does not excuse the far more numerous Middle Easterners, and vice versa.

Groups of White men beat gays to death, and attacked and threatened black men, women, and children. Does that give homosexual blacks the right to attack any white person they see? No sir. Plus there were *Gasp* Muslims that died in the 9/11 attacks too (my friend's dad for one), not just christians like so many people seem to be thinking right now.kthulhu wrote:On the other hand, the OKC bombing had an anomalous aspect to it. Unfortunate, yes, but that's bigotry and racism, not terrorism. It justifies those people's closed minds and prejudices - not their political and ideological ideals.SSJVegita0609 wrote:Groups of White men beat gays to death, and attacked and threatened black men, women, and children. And if you read my post, I said that neither side (white or Middle Eastern) justifies or excuses the other.
And....? People of all types died. This is irrelevant to what I am saying. Muslims will kill Muslims, just like everyone else kills people who are the same as they are.SSJVegita0609 wrote:Plus there were *Gasp* Muslims that died in the 9/11 attacks too (my friend's dad for one), not just christians like so many people seem to be thinking right now.

Though truly in all aspects it was a tragedy...I am not denying that, but people need to MOVE on...and I'm not trying to be unsympathetic just serious.
What I like about this thread, Kthultu. (the grotesque bullshit as you so aptly put it)I'm not insulting the day or the event. I'm insulting the grotesque bullshit that's come about afterwards.
