As well as just generic spam, people creating new threads just to reply to other people's Drop Box threads is Not A Good Thing.

i don't know why you call it spam. the messages that i put in there during what you called "spamming" was to repute another already made there.

If people can't have the option to defend their view on teh thread's placement after the initial post, then other post within the MOD box would have to be made.

allow people to respond 9as in post a message) to a Mod box drop if you don't want many threads on a single issue.

and lastly, i don't see the Mods complaining.

It was my post that started that large spamming of the mod box. And I still believe that thread belonged in WOT and I got it moved there mwahaha. But after Fyrt's overreaction Lyrs came in and everything just sorta blew up....Kamoc didn't help.

Banning might be a bit severe for one time though. Maybe if someone kept doing it then a warning from the mods, and if they continue, give em a temp ban for a day, and if they start again ban for day +1 ect. ect.

I don't think any of us did anything wrong. If we have had the ability to post a thread within the mod box rather then just a singlular message, the whole "spamming" wouldn't have happened. all the post related to the issue would've been confined in a singular thread.

But, there were multilateral issues where I had to post something for the mods in response to another members' mod message, or to offer an alternative action than the one suggested by the initial suggester.

Once I also had a mysterious double post.

Let's not take the rule too far - avoid actual spam, but don't go removing people's opportunity to respond to mod-addressed messages.

my point exactly

the option to reply has been taken away and hence, new threads were made
