What do you think is a distasteful Anime Music Video

Ok, I had some time to think on this.

Here, I will use a real world example. I was on vacation with a group of people in several cars (going to church camp several years ago) The van I was in, the husband and wife were in, and they were busy bickering and arguing about little stuff. This bothered me, I don't why it did but it did, enough to make me a little angry. The next stop I had to change vans.

So therefore, this video showing mainly the out of context, somewhat bad and worst parts of their marriage in this video tends to affect me the same way, sort of like me not wanting to see a couple argue with each other.

I mean the out of context thing being parts used in a different way than what was in the series.

Life isn't all lollipops and sunshine, kiddo. If you want to put your hands over your eyes and think that life is all about being perfectly happy all the time, that's your prerogative, but don't come crying to the real world about how it burst your little bubble.

If a vid editor wants to craft a sad story using a particular anime, it's their project and they can do what they want with it. Who are you to tell them what to do?

Not to mention you're taking this anime way too damn seriously. To quote MST3K, "Repeat to yourself, 'it's just a show, I should really just relax.'"

Sure, <i>you</i> may not think it's a good idea. Every video out there has one person who disagrees with it on a major level, whether it's the belief that Evas shouldn't dance or that good AMVs shouldn't be made with shitty songs. However, every video also has people who think it's good and has merit.

After all, if the editor didn't think the video had merit, he wouldn't have made it. So, there's one person who disagrees with you. I think it's unfair of you to state your "opinion" (which sounds to me like you're trying to stir shit up) on a public forum, when a PM to the editor (or even an opinion left on the video page) would reach him so much sooner.

Of course, let it not be forgotten that opinions are like assholes: everyone's got one.

Most of my videos (blue sub 6 anyone?) have a score higher than 8.00, that doesnt mean their good, that just means someone was nice.

Yeah, but the people who were nice gave good scores because they liked it, that's what he meant. The scores may not reflect how 'great' the video is, but they do show that more people out there like it than hate it. Although, I think reviewable would be the better number to use. You'll still have a hard time finding a vid people like that has a low Overall, so either one works. ^_^;
