btw, I already wrote my opinion for that video. First off, it's one of the FIRST Please Teacher vids here on the org... 2nd, I happen to love the Please Teacher anime beyond belief so shame on you for slappin' on one of the first Please Teacher amvs... [I'm calling it Please Teacher despite what some of you "hentai" minded people are thinking :p]

I agree. Anything that doesn't go with the original idea of the story is distasteful. This basically means that once a studio attempts to make something from an idea, since they rarely end up actually going with the original idea, that the resulting series ITSELF is distasteful. So naturally any AMV made to such a series (which encompasses probably around 99% of all series) is also distasteful.

"Distasteful" just isn't the word for it. Period. What you want is something more like the phrase "I don't like it."

"Distasteful" implies that it causes nausea or violates some moral/social etiquette, which has nothing to do with this at all.
