All those losers: Junta Momonori, Keitaro Urashima, Keiichi Morisato, Yota Moteuchi all taught me to take my nice guy programming and DELETE IT. Because real life is so much harder. No such thing as a nice guy (loser) who gets the girl. We just gotta settle with what we can kinda scrape off the bottom.
Fuma, from X, the Movie. Baddest fucking villian ever!
"There's nothing stopping you asking her now!" Best line from Fuma. Ha ha ha!
Everything else, I taught myself.

i agree with that. my suitemate in college was just making a joke abt this. he was walking down his campus hall and just sayin hi to random girls in the room. one of them slammed the door at him. so he said, thanks a lot bitch for slamming the door in my face! mad loud.Nestorath69 wrote:All those losers: Junta Momonori, Keitaro Urashima, Keiichi Morisato, Yota Moteuchi all taught me to take my nice guy programming and DELETE IT. we were all cracking up, and then later, the same girl came up to him and said hi. he said in a falsetto voice "I love guys who act like total assholes."
its so damn true, and then they bitch that guys never treat them right.

Awesome.
Just another excuse to be more bitter, close-minded and negative in this world.
Chill out suckers. I can't say I've been influenced by anyone in particular, but as a general rule, characters who try hard and get somewhere in the end further reinforce my optimist outlook on the passing moment that is life.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Shinji and his various "clones" in post-Eva anime, esp. Tsukasa in hack Sign..
I can identify most with Shinji and Tsukasa and though they are far from ideal role models, they progressively deal with their problems and provide insight while still being a character I can relate to.
Other notables include Spike Speigal (Cowboy Bebop) and Krim (.hack)

Tsukasa in .hack//SIGN, as well as Zidane from FFIX. Although Zidane came first and was a much bigger influence, they did basically the same thing.
It's all about venturing inside yourself to find what you really want to do and then carry out your goals. And to always help your family, no matter what...
Okay, I really don't know how that applies to Tsukasa so much, but it does... Somehow.
And then Vash from Trigun influenced me in the wierdest way...
I now push up my glasses with my middle finger instead of my index.
