If so, then Project Greenlight is for you!

The contest for this year is already over, and the winners have been decided(the movie actually made it to a few theaters!), but the next one should be announced soon.

I figured I should post this now so you all would have some material to submit by the time it starts up again.

What is Project Greenlight and why should I care?

Well, I don't know exactly what it is for directors, but I DO know that if you like writing screenplays, you can send them here and they will be reviewed. If your script makes it to the top fifty, it'll be sent to Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will review your screenplay!
If your script is the all-time winner, I'm pretty positive the winner of the director contest will direct your video, and it will aire in a few theaters and on the HBO channel.

Of course, to enter the contest you need to sign-up to the site, but signing up is hassle-free and costs no money so...

That's awesome.

I used to write a bunch of playwrights for in and out of school that I got to direct and then got paid for. I was also a theatre actress fag for years.

but you know, cake is good too.

Oh, man. That would be totally great. I love writing in script format. But I'm fifteen and still in hgh school. Ah, well.
