Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Fresh Talent -- "Bebop: Reloaded"

Post by requiett » Mon Sep 01, 2003 2:38 pm

Salutations, f'low AMV-heads. I intr'duce myself as Requiett, a newcomer to the largest collection of fanvids there is (as far as I know, but I'm sure this is the most expansive). I affiliate myself with no studio, or studio title. Aside from that being rather pretentious (heh heh), I offer the first AMV that I am proud enough to display in the forums for all to see. I've taken Cowboy Bebop: The Movie as source footage, and synched it with Rob Zombie's Reload, from the Matrix: Reloaded Soundtrack. If you are familiar with this tune, then you can assume it's an action video (which it is). You may find the video here...

Perhaps I didn't put as much effort into this piece as I should have, but I am quite pleased with the outcome, nonetheless. Special effects abound this one (especially transparency) to bring out sounds in the music you might not notice otherwise. (Isn't that the very essence of an AMV? :)
Please feel free... no, rather obligated, to leave an opinion of this AMV. I sincerely hope you enjoy this little number, and I look forward to making many more AMVs of high caliber.

Thank you, oodles.
