Ever been "Daft Punked"?

ok i have to explain what happened so you know what being Daft Punked means.

A few weeks ago i was at Sunrise records with my sister and we were looking through the Discount bin which was full of random CD's. i saw a Daft Punk CD and remembered somone telling me they were good. If i could remember who had said that then this whole experience would ahve been avoided. but any ways i told my sister about it, and since it was only 12.99 she bought it, when she listened to it it turned out that Daft Punk was a dance group. fucking false advertising holebags! Any ways we returned teh CD, but since then she hasn't trusted any ting i've said about buying random cd's.

Any ways, has any thing like that ever happened to you?

I can't say it has, even though I like some of Daft Punk's music when coupled with the music video series they made.

If irony tickles your fancy, 'daft' means something along the lines of 'stupid'.

actualy stupid is exactaly what daft means ... if i'm not mistaken it's british slang. I've watched my fair share of british films and figured out what daft ment, jsut never remembered hearing aout daft punk when i used to listen to dance music.

no, i know it's not false advertising. Just that i felt cheated

and it was quite the appropiate expression at the time.

How could you feel cheated you bought a CD you knew nothing about. When you buy a CD of a band who previously was the coolest thing to hit the music industry and this CD sucks to the max then maybe you could feel cheated. But how could have any expectations for a band whom you obviously knew nothing about.
