<a href="http://www.yourdog.net/breed_bans.htm">This</a> is another reason why I don't care for Europe that much. Sure, some parts of the US have breed bans, but not to this extent. It's supposedly brought on because a known criminal's trained attack pit bull killed a six year old child. Tragic, yes, but banning dogs, not just by breed, but by size and height?! Makes as much sense as banning rice rockets because they look fast.

Releasing thousands of farm raised mink into the wild in a misguided feel good attempt at "animal rights". Many have been rounded up again, many have died, but there are some out there still that will probably have a bad effect on the local small wildlife. Whoo, way to go, ALF fuckers!
Anyone else have stupid news they'd like to point out?

A good few have been hit by cars, some can't figure out how to hunt, and the ones that can are raiding chicken farms and killing peoples pets in their backyards.
