*ahem* At Otakon's AMV panel they told us about the first documented AMV, and it is not on the org. (AMVs existed before the org, you know. ;))

Somebody who knows all that stuff can fill you in; I have a horrible head for names. I just remember that it was done in 1981 or so, with Macross and the Beatles' "All You Need Is Love."
