The wild kid from FF3 or (FF6 whatever) is Gau...
I think in all my favourite character from FF is Sabin...he just amused me greatly...and i loved his attacks....be they snes and 2-d or not lol.
What they should do in my opinion is release the older games for ps2 or something, that would be cool...and then maybe release all the other games never released here in NA...

they already released them for PS2. They're snes games, releasing them on a high powered system isn't going to make them any better, and they've already been released for the PSX, and since you can play PSX games on you PS2, it's really the same thing.Moonlight Soldier wrote:The wild kid from FF3 or (FF6 whatever) is Gau...

Just one more post and I'm out. No game is flawless. Its just a matter of degrees when your discussing the greatest games. One aspect that may be a positive one will be a negative one to someone else. Its inevitable.
I played my first FF in 93' right after I first got my SNES. I went to the local rental place and went to look for a game to rent. None of the games looked good (I was looking for a platformer, cuz I was big into platformers back then). I picked up Final Fantasy II (4 in japan), a game I had never heard of before, and I got it because (you might laugh when you read this) it had the best graffics of any of the games there. I had never played or even seen an rpg before. Needless to say it immediately
became my favorite game (I value soundtrack and storyline above all other aspects in a game), and every final fantasy I played after that had MY highest expectations. With the exception of final fantasy 8, my expectations were actually surpassed with each non-sequel.
Despite the prestige and quality of the series, it seems to be the perenial runner up in magazine awards. Anyone remember who won best game of 94' in Nintendo Power magazine (THE videogame magazine of its time)? FF6 finished 2nd, behind DONKEY KONG COUNTRY. Omfg you gotta be kidding me. I'm still upset nearly 10 years later.
The fact that no matter how good a final fantasy game is, it always ends up a runner up is clear evidence to the incredible hype each installment must endure (espescially FF7 and FF8, omg). Of course these much dreaded fanboys do their share of hyping, not to mention just about any applicable videogame magazine.

2) everyone DID NOT say it's crap, most people here loved it.
3) say everyone did sy it's crap, stop saying shit just to go with the crowd. No one respects some one that can't form opinions of his own.
4) The storyline didn't suck
5) TEN MINUTES IS NOTHING.
6) I think you're a fucking idiot, and I don';t think many people are going to disagree with me.
