Someone needs to make a movie that accurately portrays...

Post by Mr Pilkington » Thu Aug 28, 2003 12:49 am

Someone needs to make a movie that accurately portrays Crinos Werewolves vs. Vampires. Has anyone seen the trailer for this new move Underworld? What is up with that? The werewolves can’t exceed Galabro and apparently only have the ability to climb walls and provide cannon fotter for the leech’s crappy human weapons. Why can’t anyone accurately portray Werewolves? First of all garou (aka: werewolves) have 5 phases to “choose” between. The first being Homidor human. Nothing special here less ye be metis, but they tend to stray away from humanity anyway. Then comes Galabro, this is the form most recognized by the cinematic media. The creature gains a slight height increase, incognito fangs and claws, and a far amount of hair, but is still easy mistaken as human (with the minor exception that he could juggle our vespa.) Next comes my personal favorite, Crinos. Known by many as the ultimate from of the Garou. It’s, simply put, a 12-foot hulking beast of carnage. Imagine the meanest looking bipedal wolf you have ever seen. Don’t worry, that’s not a dark alley you met him down, that was his complete shadow. Next comes Hispo. This is much like the Crinos form but far more quadropedile, This is the about the time your skeletal structure comes to resemble that of a Doberman on Gamma Radiation. Finally is Lupus, which simply put is your wolf form. The natural form for most werewolves (with the exception of metis in-which Crinos is the natural form.) But the most import fact is that a simple bullet wound, even silver tipped round isn’t instantly fatal. Silver and fire have only their normal effects. IE: if you get shot in the leg w/ a silver bullet you just have a gaping hole which would heal as a normal bullet wound (on a human.) Now mind you a head shot, lung shot, exc. would prove fatal if not instantly eventually, but that is just reality. Misnomer number 2: Vampires are not more powerful than Garou. Some higher level leeches may posses more power than a lower level garou, but such is the chain of command. In reality while a leech is firing away with is pansy ass human weapons the garou would be confronting the foolish wlep with a frenzy fed yearn to destroy. His claws would tear then leech in so many pieces God himself could reassemble him. Add a Grand Klaive into the mix, and all over on the bloodsucker’s end. Misnomer number 3: A werewolf bite does not give you the “disease.” You have to contract it either by performing said rights, or by birth.

Someone please write a screenplay that accurately portrays these noble and most awesome creatures!

Here's an idea.

You write the screenplay.

You sell it for lots of money.

You win.

Tried that, I'm not creative enough. Besides there are only so many times you can swim up George Lucas' toilet and surprise him in the train of thought before his beefy nerd bodyguards break your legs and arms.

I thought they held you in a headlock and made you smell the specially cultivated nerd funk in their armpits.
I'm out...

Funny that reality would come up anywhere in a "serious" topic about werewolves and vampires

Its like a lot of other Hollywood ventures, putting a deeper storyline behind an action front, so it doesn't matter if they screw up some simple detail if the movie is still enjoyable, besides that, they're most likely shooting for the goth group to see this movie, and what do they want....Vampires, if you're going to bash hollywood for making crap, congratulations, hundreds of critics have beat you to it. Why not just listen to this simple line from The Critic.

"If the movie stinks, JUST DONT GO"
Behold my....signature!
