Cowboy Bebop The Movie Question
I'm a huge fan of Cowboy Bebop, and having watched the series through a few times, I'm accustomed to both the dub and the sub. So when the movie came out, I was kind of surprised to see that they retained the same english dub cast minus David Lucas. Sure, he and Steven Blum sound quite alike, but after having worked on the series, why not go ahead and do the movie like the rest of the voice actors from the series? Anyone know why David Lucas was absent from the movie?

yes Dave and Steve are the same guy. For some reason Dave uses "Steve" as a stage name, I can't remember the details of why. It has to do with what kind of projects he's involved in.

it's the same person, this thread once existed in off topic and it got proven.
Like an official bandai or cowboy bebop site said Dave Lucus(aka Steven Blum)
some crap like that, but in any case people argued for several pages, but it was proof enough that when it got posted everyone accepted it and agreed.

its probably cuz he does alot of different projects for different companies at the same time...so what you all said pretty much. I mean He did the CB movie at around the same time he was doing GTO and they have the different names, and they are both two different companies (Tokyopop and Bandai) But yeah, same person, just like everyone else already said --;
