Blind Guardian... Anyone here like them?

Well in case you don't know, Blind Guardian is a band who's genre I like to call "Epic Metal". They have a lot of backing vocals and classical instruments behind their songs. I should hope that some of you would know htem considering that they're a big thing in Japan. They sing a lot of songs based on books like Lord Of The Rings and other fantasy novels. They also come up with original stories, obviously. So, anyone else like them ore other bands that are similar? (like Iced Earth)

A lot of bands are big in Japan.

Blink-182 played there just a little bit ago, and I'm willing to bet they know more Japonese than most people here.

Just because a band is popular in Japan and we like anime doesn't mean we should like some one or have even heared of them for that matter

And with a band as big as Blind Guardian, ofcourse people here like them.

There are several REALLY big BG fans at this forum.

Blind Guardian is an amazing group. Definatly some of the best musicians in Metal!
