Premiere Pro seems to work out of the box

Post by Sinime » Fri Aug 22, 2003 8:36 pm

Premiere Pro arrived today and so far:

:D PicVideo plugin seems to work.

 AVISynth plug in seems to work except that the preview screen is garbled while playing the video – odd thing is that when you hit stop, step through frame by frame, or render it shows up just fine. This may not be a problem seeing as how you should edit with the PicVideo codec and only render out using the AVISynth file.

 Switching from one video source to another seems to work fine too

I’ll do some more tests this weekend.

Hmmm, that's a start at least.

Is there any chance you can take a screenshot to show me what the problem is so we can start working out how to fix it?

Thanks

Just downloaded my copy of Premiere Pro! Talk about improvement! They actually fixed the motion settings, which was my biggest gribe about 6.5. Keyframing anything is much easier. The whole layout bears a striking resemblance to Final Cut 4. Looks like Adobe got a clue. This is such a huge improvement there's no way you can't pay the 200 bucks to upgrade. If you've got the cash, do it! You'll thank yourself within the first 5 minutes of editing. ;)

Does it allow you to edit at 23.976fps (I mean REAL 23.976fps not this 23.98 rubbish)?
