I thought the .mkv would be marked .mkv

fan subbers are now trying .mkv and .MP4 Video's . . got one marked .mp4 ^^ but why is the .mkv one marked .avi T_T

How do you know it's matroska if it's extension is avi

the only specified extensions for matroska are mkv (matroska video) mka (matroska audio) and mks (matroska system). I'm unsure of the last one because I haven't seen it used yet.

One of the MOD's on that board re-named it .avi -
and in doing so has crashed the main storage system as well ~_~

- think I'll start re-naming file extentions too ^^ - what they hell, its a free country

What get's me is the MOD on that board - did it with such non-caring ease T_T

after rifling-off a letter to SL, they said that the new extentions would be added to their list of Good files, and that it should become available again sometime wednesday ^^ hehe - steve almost had a heart attack the first time he saw .ogm files.
