Really how many people like this anime?
I found it to be unfofilling and a big heaping pile of eye candy and lame mech battles that made little sense... Oh and the death of Kaji? Pen Pen Killed Kaji, thats the only explanation!!!!!

LOL I know about the sg thing and the bugness.... Oh and I didn't say I didn't like that Anime, it's just that people shouldn't say its the best in the world.... I didn't mean to sond like a troll...

This isn't something for everyone to like, I admit. It's something that deliberately and forcefully drives a message across, and if you're out of tune with that message or intentionally refuse to accept the message (which is understandable, since not everyone's personal philosophy coincides with what Anno thinks). If you fail to get this message, the series becomes wasted on you and you begin to hate it.

I loved it to death on even on the first viewing. I was very pleased with the TV ending, and actually maintained the belief that it was better than that offered in the EoE... until I saw the last few seconds of Eoe

I'd say it's 50/50 for love-hate - well, maybe 60-40, but the percentage of those who don't care for it is still rather high from what I observe. Again, understandably. To be honest, I'm amazed that there's so many people who like it given it's nature.
