One-year-old system

Athlon XP 1800+
512mb DDR RAM @ 333MhZ
GeForce 4 Ti4200, 128mb
80GB HD
15"LCD monitor

That's pretty well the essentials. I also have a pretty solid stereo speaker system with huge speakers which can really pump the sound if you want it to

In the next few months, I'm buying a new machine of slightly newer configuration, but not much different...

I custom built it, but it needs to be upgraded badly.

1700 amd athlon xp
80 gig hd
120 gig hd
I'm unsure about my video card
