It's their fault that rock isn't as good as it was back then. There are hardly any good rock bands today that are good (eg Sugar Ray, Blink 182, The Goo Goo Dolls, Pantera, some others), but alot of them suck. And there's this fucking stupid satanic rock (Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Coal Chamber, Tool, Fear Factory) that are waste of musical talent. I remember those 80s metal bands who always sang about Chillin' wit da honeys and gettin' laid. Now rock is just about depression and suicide and other crap. We need some more old rock (AC/DC, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd, Foreigner, Whitesnake, Poison, Ratt, Winger, Stryper, Journey, Mr. Big, Night Ranger, Loverboy, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Sammy Hagar, The Cult, Yes, David Foster, etc), and less of this satanic/goth shit (Manson, Tool, Slipknot, Coal Chamber, Fear Factory, etc.) So who agrees with me????
 30 years from now you're still going to be listening to the same old bands and talking about how the 80's was the pinical of music (not because it really was, though, but because that is what you grew up with) You are going to turn into the very person that every youth hates, the person that only listens to their 30's/40's/50's music and talks about how 70's/80's/90's music is awful.

Monster ballads *shudders* now that's something awful. Listen to stuff that is new, listen to stuff that is old (pre 1935). There's a lot of stuff out there that is better than what has been made by many of the groups you mention as being great.

But I won't jabber on any further, you've posted things like this before. Wether you do them to churn the coals, or trully believe what you say, the pattern has been observed. Your mind is shut off completely to anything that does not agree with the way you think.

G'day mate

Blah, blah, blah. If you don't like a genre of music, don't listen to it. Problem solved.

Wow, that was hard. I think I need a nap.

I hate what MTV is doing to kids. They try to force a lifestyle on kids to make themselves money.

My music scene is incredible, I'm so incredibly gratefull to have experienced it. However, it's the kids and the bands that make it possible, MTV drives stupid little teeni bopper kids that "go with the flow" to my shows.

The bands like I like tend to tour in groups of 4. I went to see The ataris with Further Seems Forever, The Julina Theory, and Damone in March, The whole night was a big dissapointment, stupid kids everywhere that just don't know how the show works.

Ofcourse The ataris will never ben the same again, but I've seen Further Seems Forever and Damone since then and the shows were amazing. These two shows were great because kids actually wanted to be there, they bring THEMSELVES there, they're not brainwashe dinto it by MTV. Tho I'm sure as soon as these bands get big they'll get plenty of MTV drones in their crowd.

MTV forces lifestyles on kids and make them think they have to do what MTV is projecting to be accepted into society. What's worse is MTV does this by making them think they're being individuals.

I hate these trendy little kids with all my heart, and I hate MTV more for breeding them.

When are kids going tog row up and start doing what theyw ant to do? not what's "cool"

Wait a minute:

How the fuck is Fear Factory satanic? Atheist, sure, but hardly devil worship.

Just take Kthulu's advice and grab some Front 242, and enjoy.

Rock had depression before Nirvana. Let's keep in mind the Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays" for a moment. A song, FROM THE 80'S, about a school shooting.
If nothing else, harsh noises get your attention.

a little weird, now that I look back on my childhood, for every 20 years or so - a few songs actually sound good:

30's & 40's - Big Band Music . . . not very well constructed!
( but when updated and tightened, the 1957 TV show
"Perry Maison" had one hell of an opening theme song ) 8)

40's & 50's - not much music as everybody had picnic's with their New Car's
( yet Beverly HillBillies, Decon's Andy Griffith had a really nice
sound to it PLUS we got most of the Xmas Music that we hear today
from that time too ) 8)

it doesn't matter what generation you live in, or what style of music you like;
times change and so do the likes and dis-likes of what we hear on Radio, TV

Some of the older Rock and Roll groups are trying to get back together - phuey!
( treat it just like a bad-date or lost-money in a Casino; write it off and let it die )

Everything is subject to change - don't let yourself be the one who becomes old T_T

Yeah! These Kids today with the hair, and the clothes, <wheezy rhasping> it's disgusting, <shaking cane> you turn down that crap! I remember in my day, we had real music. Not like what we have today with the hair, and the clothes, and the music that's not real real.

your musical preference is quite confusing to me

Just Because The Lead Singer Screams, Doesnt Mean Its Satanic. And How In The Good Name Of The Great Milenko Can You Think Tool Is Satanic? Jesus Christ...Oh, And Erm...Mister Motley Crue Fan, Four Words..

'Shout At The Devil'

Oh Wait, Two More..

'Helter Skelter'

Now Erm, Helter Skelter Was Charlie Mansons Theme There, And Erm..Motley Crue Covered It For That Reason Alone. Now Quit Backmasking Ideals With The Bands -Shakes His Head-
