YAAAAY LOV PREMIERE m(TOT)m

Post by Katsumi_AMVs » Sat Aug 16, 2003 1:33 am

Woot ^_^
I'm close to finish my first vid with Premiere 6.5!!
GAHHHHH it's so GD great ! ToT
I loved it that program!
But of course I hav a lot to learn ,but that is one more good part cuz, in my old program wasn't necessary learn too much ,cuz, the number of effects was close to nothing

But it's OK,I'm happy now ^_^

Hey if you're thinking about buy Premiere, better start with 6.0,cuz for begginers the 6.5 it's a little complicated, but no prob is just matter of time

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Stop it, your making me feel bad that I only have 5

Seriously though what does it matter? An editing platform is just the thing that allows you to make amv's, it doesn't make them good. As long as your happy (and understand) with what your using, it's all good.

*waits patiently for rant about new features*

Heh ^_^
You say that ,because you don't know how bad it is Movie Shaker (Sony/Vaio)look I'll wrote here WHY I HATE my old software

1 - YOU CAN'T import Avi,Xvid,DivX files
2 - YOU CAN'T import wma music files
3 - IT'S NOT possible make a editon frame by frame
4 - NO picture in picture effect
5 - Real time preview slow down if you make more than 15 cuts
6 - After edition process when you encode to mpeg files the sound quality is destroyed with glitches and skips
7 - YOU CAN'T export to Avi files

Need more to be happy with Premiere?
I REALY GONNA make better vids after buying Premiere you will see

I didn't think you could import DivX into premiere? Not in my version anyway it crashes.

And as to preview/render time... well last night I waited 50 mins to look at half of my 3min vid.

Still undoubtably better vids will result :)

(ps this thread will probably get moved to general video)

Movie Shaker don't hav a way to render the project to make it faster the preview play, and I make my last vid with footage encoded with DivX AVI files :?:

Whatever ...
Looks like that you just gonna understand what I felt if you try to make a AMV with Movie Shaker, and about rendering time

I was realy confuse on where to post this.....cuz this is a thread about "I gonna make better AMVs with Premiere" .....

Ive got 6.0 and it doesnt crash but DivX freezes it to shit and gives me laggy video. For me DivX is just a bad codec

Two things;

1) P-frames
2) Direct Show

these things make divx NOT an editing codec.

YOU HAV TO KNOW FIRST HOW HARD IT IS MAKE A AMV WITH MOVIE SHAKER

IF somebody knows that GD program I respect your opinions saying "gosh why you're so happy with nothing?"
