I was thinking of purchasing a portable dvd player..... but i figure it would be useless to me unless it could play burned data cd's...anyone know?

Burned data CD's? Explain - do you mean VCDs? Audio/MP3 CD's? Other?

grab the APEX portable DVD player. That thing plays everything, practically.

portable DVD players tend to be pretty nice =/

Any DECENT DVD player will play data CDs.
